Plus-Sized Influencer Urges McLaren To Expand Car Seats To Fit Her Booty: ‘Should Be For Everyone’

A well-known plus-size influencer from Panama, who often finds herself needing extra space in amusement parks, has now made another bold request – she wants McLaren to redesign their car seats to accommodate larger bodies.

Gracie Bon, 27, took to Instagram to share her thoughts on the matter, sparking intense discussions online.

“Super cars should be for everyone,” she captioned the video, addressing her 10 million followers.

Bon, who has gained significant attention for her curvy figure and outspoken views on body positivity, frequently shares photos and videos promoting self-acceptance. Weighing around 225 pounds, she has become a social media sensation.

However, despite her efforts to embrace body diversity, she claims the world isn’t always built to accommodate her size.

In her latest video, Bon can be seen attempting to get into a sleek McLaren sports car with wing-style doors, but she struggles to fit comfortably.

Although she manages to get seated, she runs into another problem – her 55-inch hips make it impossible to close the car door properly.

Feeling that car manufacturers should be more inclusive, Bon wrote, “@mclaren please just make the seats bigger.”

However, many online weren’t convinced by her argument and had no sympathy for her request.

“That poor car!! That’s AutoAbuse!” one person commented, while another added, “If you want space in a car, get a bigger car like G Wagon, not a sports car.”

A third critic was even more direct, saying, “You always say ‘everything needs to be bigger’ the world those not revolve around you,”

This isn’t the first time Bon has spoken out about feeling discriminated against because of her size.

In February, she took to Instagram to share her experience at Disneyland, where she required two seats on various rides. According to her, other park visitors stared and even recorded videos of her.

“I couldn’t believe my eyes. People were shocked to see my body, like hello this is America,” Bon recalled. “Almost 40% of people here are plus size, so why were they acting like I was some rare creature?”

She elaborated, saying, “I can’t just wake up one day and be skinny, it’s 2025 and people need to realize that not everybody looks the same and that’s okay.”

The influencer has also criticized commercial airlines for having seats that are too small for plus-size travelers.

However, she eventually found a way around that issue last spring by purchasing her own private jet.
